Wellbeing Schools Forum from NCB

The NCB Partnership for wellbeing in schools has launched a forum....details below!

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Wellbeing Schools Forum, an online platform that brings education providers together to share best practice with the end goal of improving mental health and emotional wellbeing for every pupil.

Through the forum we want to help develop an essential peer-to-peer support network while creating an evidence base for what works. Our aim is for the forum to drive and inspire change in how schools can create an enriching education environment that is conducive to good mental health and wellbeing support for every pupil.

You can apply to join the forum here: https://tinyurl.com/WellbeingSchoolsForum

Please feel free to share this with your networks as well as with any schools for whom this may be of interest.

Just listened to an interesting programme on radio 4 today  - My name is Sammy and I am thinking of leaving the NHS.  A junior doctor descries her experience, interviews people etc.  some great insights into what it’s like to work as a junior doctor in A & E. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0005t3h

This is a succinct summary for managers produced by BUPA which covers what mental health at work is and why it is important. It gives ideas of early signs to be aware of and how to help employees including tips on how to have a conversation. https://www.bupa.co.uk/business/open-up?cid=dis:a100217#managers-guide
