Starting on 14th April

Gill Begnor will be running 18 Park Runs in 18 different locations throughout the year, picking up volunteers along the way.

Lunghissimo Walk

July 2019

Starting at 'Shanks’s Pony' from the Great St. Bernard Pass on the Swiss-Italian border, down the length of Italy. The route will go south of Milano, dropping down to La Spezia, then onto Roma, where (after 1,000 km) Molly will hand the baton onto Tilly. From the Vatican City, Holly and Tilly continue down to the South coast, finishing at the 'toe’ of Italy’s 'boot', just before Sicily. The distance will total at a whopping 1,600 km (just over the length from John o' Groats to Land's End). They aim to average 30 km per day, but the real ‘feet’ will be from enduring this distance for over two months!

ASICS London 10k

They will join the thousands of runners winding their way through Central London together. They run united in a common aim to raise awareness and support CWMT!

Prudential Ride London

3rd - 4th August

The route runs for 100 miles from the Olympic Park through the rolling Surrey Hills before finishing near Buckingham Palace.

The Haute Route Pyrenees

11th - 23rd August

The Haute Route Pyrenees is a huge challenge involving lots of HC (hardest, longest, highest) road cycling climbs in the region.  It is 7 days that will require a huge amount, good luck Charlie!

Land's End to John O'Groats

LEJOG is a classic challenge across the entire length of mainland Britain that every cyclist should experience at least once in there lifetime.

In all we will cover roughly 1,000 miles, encompassing some of the UK's most stunning and remote countryside in just 14 days of exhilarating cycling!

Richmond Half Marathon

15 September 2019

London's most exclusive race! The only time you can ever run in the World Heritage Site - Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew! The race will take runners on a scenic tour of Richmond, one of London's most appealing areas. It starts at Kew Botanical Gardens and finishes at Old Deer Park, via a scenic tour of Richmond Riverside and Ham House.

Cotswold Way Century Ultra Marathon

21 - 22 September 2019

Phil will be taking on the incredible challenge of running this ultra marathon within the 30 hours limit. It is a 102 mile race from Chipping Camden all the way along the Cotswold Way to Bath Abbey.

Cardiff Half Marathon

6th October 2019

The race starts outside Cardiff Castle and runners then head down past Cardiff City Stadium on the way to Penarth. They take in the glorious Penarth Marina before crossing the barrage and heading to Cardiff Bay. Runners run right through the heart of the bay taking in the Norwegian Church and Wales Millennium Centre. The course then heads towards the north of the city and runners will complete a loop of the beautiful Roath Park Lake before the grandstand finish in the heart of the city at the Civic Centre.
