Lee has worked in mental health services and public health for over 18 years. During this time, Lee managed community mental health projects and was the locality lead (in Portsmouth) for public mental health and suicide prevention. Alongside these roles Lee was the lead trainer in a Local Authority (and formerly a Primary Care Trust) for mental health and suicide prevention.
He qualified as a MHFA trainer in early 2008 and in 2010 became a National Trainer.
Lee is an external verifier for the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and has contributed to the development of several qualifications including their Youth Health Champion programme.
Lee has a special interest in the health and wellbeing of employees and organisations and has led on workplace health programmes over many years. Line manager training has featured greatly in his portfolio and is a particular passion.
