A selection of accomplished artists will donate to charity all the commission on works they sell at an Autumn Art Show at Donnington Priory on Saturday 6th October. The show will take place at the beautifully picturesque venue with kind permission of leading auctioneer Dreweatts 1759.
The event will showcase the work of artists whose styles vary from contemporary to traditional. They include Kate Rhodes, Ollie Baynham, Emily Rogers and Lara Robinson, to name but a few, and there will be paintings and sculptures to suit a range of budgets. Works by students at Theale Green Academy and Marlborough College will also be exhibited.
The show is being organised by a hardworking committee of supporters, headed by Lucy Hanbury and Clare Jacobs.
Rachel Waller, our co-founder and Head of Fundraising, said: “We are absolutely delighted that this wonderful show is again being held in aid of CWMT. The funds raised will be invaluable in helping us educate more people – especially the young – to look after their mental health. We would very much like to thank Dreweatts 1759, and Lupton Wines.”
Jonathan Pratt, Managing Director, Dreweatts 1759, said: “Dreweatts is delighted to host the forthcoming Art Show in aid of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust. We applaud the training and teaching carried out by the Trust in this vital area of mental health and we are thrilled to support their fundraising efforts. We are also pleased to present works from a number of young artists who have recently graduated from local art schools.”
