Tracey has been CWMT’s Marketing Manager since 2015. she has worked in the statutory and charitable sectors for the past 18 years, holding a range of administrative, managerial and PR positions, most recently with The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
She has worked for both large and small charities, writing promotional material, editing magazines and providing content for websites and social media. Previously she spent several years working in social housing organisations where she provided direct support to people with a variety of needs. This included helping people with severe mental health problems move from psychiatric hospitals back into their local communities, a role which convinced her of the need to reduce the stigma attached to mental health issues.
Her understanding of the need to raise awareness of depression has also been deepened by personal experience of suicide and she is extremely enthusiastic about joining the Trust. Tracey lives in West Reading with her husband and, in her spare time, enjoys growing her own fruit and vegetables, singing and playing the piano.
